Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood the concern. If you have always had regular menstrual cycles and this is the first instance, you need to get an estimation of the serum beta-hCG titres followed by a sonogram of the pelvis preferably in the trans-vaginal route. If positive for pregnancy, further management can be planned accordingly. If negative, hormone imbalance is the cause and a course of hormones is given to induce a period. The imbalance is often transient and is self-corrective. Please maintain a healthy life style. Hope this helps.
