How Can One Rule Out The Possibility Of Pelvic Inflammatory Disease Through A Transabdominal Scan?

My transabdominal report indicate uterus is AVAF normal in size, shape and echo pattern.Does this rules out the possibilty of pelvic inflammatory disease?? Or fibroid, cyst, or tumour or fluid.. As i am experiencing abdominal pressure lately mainly near ovaries.

Hi, you have mentioned only regarding the uterus not the ovaries. Your uterus is normal. If there is no fluid in POD then you are not having PID. If ovaries are not having any abnormality, the pain is not due to ovaries. Get yourself examined by a gynecologist to rule out any vaginal infection.
