i am a chronic alcoholic. For the past 2 months I have been vomitting every morning. I drink throughout the day, 750ml at least. I am functional and normal even if I drink throughout the day. However, today I woke up and I think I have jaundice. This has never happened and my face is flush and yellow. I have been consuming this amount of alcohol on a daily basis for 4 years straight everyday. I know alcohol is the problem and the solution is to stop drinking. I go through sever withdrawls and seizures at times when I do not drink. what should I do?
There are quizzes to assess that. If vomiting is daily and of large amount, complications from alcohol, past history of reactions and seizures I'm not sure if there can be a worse category. No, not even slightly safe. This has to be an in patient monitored medicine assisted withdrawal and probably for a week FOLLOWED by in-patient rehab. Not a close one.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Okay, I cannot say in your particular case, but generally, there is a list of safety precautions and when someone fails, they cannot rehab at home. Having withdrawal seizures is enough by itself to mean someone cannot withdraw at home and needs close supervision or it can be fatal.
