I received a sting from a big body wasp on the low part of my calve on my left leg Im not aleige to wasp or bees but it really hurts & my leg has swollen slightly. AFTER THE string I washed the sight with alcholThere is no fever but it is very painful What should I do ?
Well, swelling and pain after wasp sting can be due to localized allergic reaction to the wasp sting that is a toxic chemical and generally cause localised allergic reaction..
You can take anti allergics like Levocetrizine or benadryl to reduce the swelling and anti inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen.
Do cool compresses over the area..
Elevate your feet while lying down..
In case of there is no improvement in 4-5 days consult an Emergency room and get evaluated..
