Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have some dull pain which is located just in the back of my leg just below the bend in the knee. It had subsided but I reaggravated it playing racquetball. I can walk without pain but sometimes when Iam sitting or sleeping I can feel some discomfort
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
There might be some muscle pull or tendon injury. As of now, take adequate rest and take analgesics like Diclofenac or Acetaminophen. Immobilize the affected limb preferably in a brace. If symptoms persist, consult an orthopedic and get an MRI scan done to rule out ligament injury and tendon involvement.
Wishing you good health.
Thanks.
