How Can Pain In The Esophagus Be Treated?

Hello Sir, My father is 73 years old and since 5 to 6 months back he is not able to eat easily roti/chappati and more depends on liquid diet and also feeling little pain in food pipe and also little problem in speaking. The main symptoms are: Dysphonia and dysphagia (voice and swallowing disorders).
Are symptoms of inflammatory in the pharynx or larynx, ore problems of the brain or nervous system.
Difficulty swallowing is also called dysphagia. It is usually a sign of a problem with throat or esophagus, the muscular tube that moves food and liquids from mouth to stomach. Dysphagia may also be associated with pain.Dysphagia is most common in older adults, and people who have problems of the brain or nervous system.
Diagnosis requires further examinations. It is necessary to visit the otorhinolaryngology’s and neurologist.
