Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
How Can Pain In The Outer Part Of The Upper Thigh Be Treated?
I have upper outer thigh pain that I noticed this evening when I got up from my chair to walk to the kitchen for dinner. I don’t remember hitting it on anything today. I was driving and shopping earlier today. What should I do? I have ice on it now and just took two Tylenol.
The pain on the outer part of the thigh can be due to a muscle spasm or sprain. Rest, hot compress, local analgesic gel and a mild pain killer can help.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Praveen Tayal,
Orthopedic Surgeon
