I ve managed to get three anal fissures and have been living with the pain of them for almost two weeks now. My local GP prescribed me with Bactrian ointment as it had become infected and rectogesic as well as a tablet form of antibiotic. The pain is just unbearable and she had mentioned that these are quite large fissures and must be causing excruciating pain. It s constantly agitating me with itching or stinging. I bathe in warm water after every bowel movement and that seems to relieve it a lot but only whilst I m in the water, as soon as I m out it starts to annoy me again.. I m not sure what else to do, can you give me any advice on fissures and how to maintain them and heal them as quickly as possible? It s just so painful and affecting my every day life and I can t cope. Thank you.
