How Can Painful Forearm Pimples With Pus Be Treated?
I have a huge pimple in my forearm. It is swollen and causes a lot of pain. I once got one in my traps with lemon siZe and i took antibiotics until it popped and was drained. I need to know what causes these huge pimples to appear and how to prevent it. Many thanks.
It seems that you may be having folliculitis. It is an infection of hair follicles. There may be elevated lesions with pus. The lesions may be painful. You consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis. Investigations may be done to rule out anaemia, DM,HIV,internal diseases, any other skin disease...etc
Antibiotics like cefixime may be taken uunder supervision of dermatologist till good response. And apply cream like nadifloxacin on the lesions. Take proper aseptic precaution to improve hygiene. Have bath with dettol water. Improve immunity with immunoboosters. You may feel better after few weeks of treatment.
Thanks.
