How Can Painful Itching Around The Vaginal Opening Be Treated?
Hi! I am having terribly painful itch around the area surrounding my clit, then near the vaginal opening and a bit down from there. It s crazy. and its been happening suddenly since the past two days. Even though I do get itches now and then but this has been persistent and unbearable for two days continuously now. Upon inspection I can see that the skin surrounding the outer labia and inner labia looks really red and bit swollen if im correct. HELPPPP Ive been trying various remedies such as yogurt, ice pack, polyfax on it but they are only offering temporary relief. It returns in like 30. KINDLY HELP. I cant go to a gynae in the coming 2-3 days.
The symptoms are more consistent with infective causes like yeast or bacterial vaginosis. Consult a gynecologist and plan for a vaginal swab to confirm the diagnosis.
