How Can Perianal Abscess Next To The Coccyx Be Treated?
i recently had a perianal abcess just to the left of my coccyx and now about 3 months later the pain has come back so im thinking i am getting another one :(.. the pain is terribly uncomfortable. how can i stop this from coming back? and reduce the pain? please help me.
It may be a pilonidal sinus or it may be a fistula or osteomyelitis of coccyx. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Use tablet Amoxicillin and Clavulinic acid 625 mg for five days. Use Mupirocin ointment locally twice a day for five days. Avoid excessive sweating there. Take a bath twice a day. If symptoms not improved please consult with your dermatologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
