How Can Peripheral Neuropathy Along With Herpes Be Treated?
I have hAD NEUROPTHY OF THE LEGS AND FEET FOR 20+ YEARS WHICH HAS BEEN BAD AND i AM ON FAMCYLOFIR (500MG.) DAILY AND SUDDENLY i HAVE A HERPIES SORE THAT HAS BROKEN OUT IN THE NERVE CENTER AT THE BASE OF MY SPINE LAST NIGHT WHICH WAS THE PAIN AND NEAUROPHY THAT WAS THE CAUSE OF ALL THE PAIN AND SUFFERING TO DATE. i HAVE TWO SORES THAT HVE BROKEN OUT IN THE SAME SPOT AND MY FEET AND LEGS ARE WORSE AND ALSO AFFECTING MY BLADDER. i AM 80, YEARS OLD AND DONT HAVE A dR. ANY MORE. aNY SUGGESTIONS AS WHAT TO DO?

Do a physical exam by your treating Doctor and discuss [acyclovir, Capsaicin cream, lidocaine spray, codeine and oral corticosteroids]and for peripheral neuritis talk about [vitamin B 12 injection]three times per week.
To prevent postherpetic neuralgia discuss with your Doctor about shingles vaccine and this vaccine will reduce complications in the future.
