How Can Phlegm In An Infant Be Treated?

My baby sounds like she has phlegm after bottle feeding and sometimes when she is laying down. She cries a lot when she sounds like this but doesn't spit anything up. When this happens she does not want to be laid down she just wants to be kept upright. What could this be and/or what can we do to help her out.

Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

It's likely to be due to mild regurgitation of the feeds that is causing this gurgling sound. If there is no vomiting there seems to be no cause for concern.
Burping the child well after feeds will take care of the issue.

Take care
