Hi,

From what you said, i got your daughter is having pneumonia- the main treatment is antibiotics-which your doctor had already given. She will be fine in few days. You can hasten her recovery by allowing some bed rest, frequent oral fluids and a soft diet rich in fruits and vegetables

Now the second part- how to keep your son safe:
Pneumonia is mainly spread through droplets coming out while coughing / sneezing.
1) Let both of them sleep in separate rooms and avoid close contact until she stops coughing
2) Avoid direct contact with her fomites and nasal secretions
3) If possible let her wear a surgical mask, this will prevent droplets escaping out. Otherwise ask her cover face with a handkerchief while coughing / sneezing
4) Keep her room well ventilated and clean daily
5) Finally, it will be fine if you can give pneumococcal vaccine to your son, if not already

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam TK, Pediatrician
