How Can Pneumothorax Along With Shoulder Pain Be Treated?
My 24 year old daughter suffered a spontaneous pneumothorax, at the last CT Scan her lung is still 10% collapsed. She is still having pain in her shoulder and it runs down through her arm and hand. We saw a surgeon and he did not suggest surgery as he said is was residual not recurring. I am happy for no surgery but where do I go to get her the help for the pain and to help the lung heal. This happen on May 2 and it is June 11. She did have two different tubes inserted to inflate the lung, the first one was not big enough so they inserted the bigger one and put her on a box to pump in the air.
