How Can Premature Ejaculation Be Treated?

Dear sir, i am 22/male and i am having a problem with premature ejaculation. I have no problem with erection but while intercoursing i ejaculate only in 5 minutes. I cannot get my partner to ejaculate at this state. After i ejaculate from intercourse after 5 mins I have to play her with my hands to make her ejaculate. That is how we have been doing for the past 2 years. I am afraid that this will not be fair for her in the long term. I dont know what to do. Should i take these sex pills they are selling in the drug stores? Which should i take? I dont know which and which not to trust. Please help me sir.

Psychiatrist 's  Response
hi..thanks for writing.. i have understood your concerns,,

the usual timings for sex before ejaculation is normal when it is 3 to 7 minutes..if it is less than 2 minutes, then it is considered as premature ejaculation..

but, premature ejaculation is subjective term, if you feel that you ejaculate early then it shud be considered as a premature ejaculation..

it can be treated with behavioral methods as well as by drugs..the behavioral techniques are easy to understand and practice..your partner can also help you in this....

in my opinion, if the problem is distressing then you shud consult a psychiatrist and ask for help..he will tell you more details about your problems and guide you through treatment...

you shud not take any sex pills without consultation from a psychiatrist..you can trust a doctor, who is qualified psychiatrist or sexologist...do not trust others, who are doing malpractice [ dont take ayrvedic ans homeopathic medicines]..

i hope this advice will be helpful to you...best luck..
