i had cataract surgery on my left eye yesterday...the eye pressure has been normal until the surgery..went in for a follow up and now i have a 28 pressure and he put me on simbrinza....i looked it up and it says use for glacoma or other ocular hypertension ..can this be corrected after 3 days of using this eye drop
it do happen if iot is raised then it is to be treated by tablet drop or surgery like trabeculectomy.complete followup is to be done and iot measured and if raised then treatment is to be continued. it willnot be corrected with three days treatment. type of glaucoma is to be diagnosed there is also normotensive glaucoma. fundus examination is to be done and cup disc ratio is to be noted. fieldfollowupand treatment is tobe done till iot is raised. tracing is to be done and scotoma is to be recorded. if not controlled then there will be tunel vision since peripheral field is restricted
