Hi,
* As per my surgical experience, the
rectal bleeding can be from piles, fissure or other conditions associated with intestines.
* The diagnosis requires clinical examination with proctoscopy examination by a consultant surgeon.
* If confirmed by the clinician, the management depends upon the degree and severity of the issue as 2nd or 3rd-degree haemorrhoids.
* If early 2nd degree, not much asymptomatic; conservative management with sitz bath, a bulk-forming laxative, dietary modifications and lifestyle changes suffice.
* If the advanced stage of 2nd or 3rd degree, one may require intervention with a
laser, staple, cryo or conventional surgery of piles as per the choice of the operating surgeon.
As per the Indian insurance policy rules, almost all procedures are being covered in insurance by a majority of the companies.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
