How Can Red Itchy Areas On The Leg Be Treated?

Hi Doctor, I have developed red itchy in areas of leg and groin. I do take many meds but have for a long time. The newest is an inhaler for asthma. I bought crème for psoriasis with salicylic acid to apply. I have also been spraying with athletes foot spray for some relief. any recommendations??

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It is probably allergic dermatitis. Apply mild steroid cream twice a day and take antihistaminics like Levocetirizine and if needed, oral steroid in tapering dose. Any suspected allergens should be avoided orally and in the form of contact.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
