How Can Reddish Mouth Patches With Irritation Due To Allergy Be Treated?

Hello, for a few years now I have gotten reddish patches around the corners of mouth that extend out about an inch and then drop down toward my chin. They do not hurt, the do not itch, it just looks irritated and of course I look like a clown as I am pale and the red really stands out. I have been put on antibiotics, used steroid cream/gel and then non-steroid when the realized I was allergic, and now I am taking some estrogen additive as the derm thinks it may be due to a chemical imbalance. Over the years it appears it happens when I eat too much of something with red sauce, if I eat citrus things, if I drink certain alcohols and God forbid I use a tooth paste with whitener. Please advise.
