How Can Ribs And Back Pain During A Pregnancy Be Treated?
i am 26 weeks pregnant and due to go on maternity leave in 3weeks. i m really struggling though with pains in my ribs and my back. i m getting depressed with it. i m off work alot and everyone in work treats me poorly about it. would my doctor sign me off work? i feel like i can t cope with the pain and work anymore
Yes, your doctor should be able to provide you with a medical certificate, but how seriously that will be accepted at work is only to be seen. Unfortunately your doctor will not be able to prescribe you with pain management medication as you know, but uncontrolled pain can result in depression and I do not want that for you, so please speak to your doctor about the same.
Best wishes.
