Hi,

If the thoughts are repetitive, irrelevant, not under your control, causing distress so much that its hampering your day to day life and remains for more than an hour then she might have OCD.

OCD can affect anyone and it can be treated with medicine and behavior therapy. Contact nearby psychiatric clinic for help. Learn how to get rid of these thoughts.

Whenever these thoughts come, try involving herself in some other activity.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Rohit Kothari
