How Can Severe Pain Around The Navel Be Treated?

Hello. I have a 7 year old who is aHaving intermittent pain around her umbilical area. It will be more intense at times and not so bad other times. it has gotten worse over the last few days. had labs done today and they looked good. had X-rays done but unsure on results. she was diagnosed with celiac disease when she was almost 3. We haven t had any issues since then with her tummy. She is crying cause of the pain. appetite is less. she will eat but not much. Want some relief. What will help her

First of all I will suggest an ultrasound because it is more sensitive with abdomen problems. After that you should consult a gastro-enterolog doctor. During this time I will suggest to have a healthy diet with plenty of water to avoid constipation because it can increase the pain. And as many time he has a celiac diagnoses it is important to avoid foods containing gluten (bread,pasta,cakes,biscuits..). See the possible to do also a total blood analyses to be sure everything is ok.
