How Can Severe Pain Due To Sciatica Be Treated?

My friend who is 80 yrs old has extremly bad siatica and is in extreme pain. She lives in Pa and doesnt have a doctor who is giving her any kind of assistance. They gave her Oxicodin which she doesnt want to keep taking but she still is in extreme pain. what can she do, she can hardly walk and shes small already and is losing weight cause she has no appetite.

As the first line of management, you can take analgesics like Gabapentin for pain relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult a neurologist and get evaluated.
