There was a car accident in dec. 2016. I was driving a chev cruse. The driver that hit me , hit me front passenger door and put a hole in my door. The air bags came down on both sides. The left ear is quite damage cant hear worth a hoot. The diagnosis is cochlear damage. But i have pain on the outer ear .what can i do to get rid of the pain.
If it is air bag-induced sensorineural hearing loss means you can't do anything just we can treat the pain only.
Pain relieved by painkiller medication, also check for middle ear Infection or ossicles rupture etc.
The complete distribution of ossicles or middle ear by gentamicin or nerve block may be useful to relieve pain. Please consult your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
