How Can Severe Pain In The Upper Right Thigh Be Treated?
Have a stabbing pain in upper right thigh that feels like a needle injection with it radiating outward lasting for a few seconds. Very painful when it happens and no rhyme or reason or visible sign on upper thigh. Help! (I don t have any money to pay for answer. Sorry.)
It may be due to neuropathic causes like sciatica. As the first line of management, you can take analgesics like Gabapentin for symptomatic relief. If pain persists better to consult a neurologist and get evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
