How Can Severe Pain In The Upper Torso Be Treated?

I fell straightforward and caused severe pain in my upper torso , i had a x ray no broken rubs was seen by the Doctor. He said the chest area has been traumatized and gave me a prescription for pain and muscle relaxer.to take 2pills 4 times a day as needed.. I am still very sore , how long will it take for me to get back to normal.? This fall happened 4 nights ago Please tell what I can do to feel better. I am 69 years old . Thank you..

Hello there. I have read through your question and would like to tell you that you have suffered soft tissue injury which may take at least 10 to 15 days to recover completely. You should continue taking the painkillers and also try icing the area at least two times in a day. Also you can take Tab chymoral forte which will help to heal the tissue injury faster.
