How Can Severe Throat Ache While Suffering From Hypopharyngitis Be Treated?

I have hypo pharyngitis and my throat kills.. hurtscto talk and my career as a consultant involved so much talking. I’m now on AmoxyClav. 875 mg x2 for 19 days . I started Monday so u ve now taken 5 pills . 2 minday, 2 tues. 1 just now. No change as yet . Gargling with seasalt. Throat burns, hurts and can’t talk as it aggravates condition. Any suggestions? Have to leave town on a plane in 2 wks. Very worried .. Bobbi

You have to send throat swab for culture sensitivity and get treated accordingly. Avoid acid reflux by Pantoprazole before breakfast for five days. Check for ulcers seen in viral or candida infection. Please consult your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
