How Can Short Term Memory Loss Be Managed When One Does Activities That They Don't Remember Doing?

At my daughter s wedding there are times that I do not remember and I was told I was acting crazy , for instance I insisted I needed to get water during the picture taking and left for a long time until someone found me and brought me back and I do not remember any of this. I don t remember a lot of things from the wedding and I do not understand what happened
