How Can Sinusitis Along With Facial Pain And Fever Be Treated?

my son Rehan aged 17 years , studying in 12th standard is quite often become prey to sinusitis and use to suffer from facial ache, irritation, fever etc. When ever we go to the doctor, he is being given antibiotic medicine for a week time. But, after few months again he is under attack. Kindly give an one time solution to get away with the problem.

Hi,

A sinus infection can at times exaggerate from cold and at times seasonal allergies. So in certain weather changes, there can be an exaggeration of sinus symptoms.

Also if the sinus infection is not completely resolved it can recur soon.
So my suggestion is to once get his sinus X-ray done to exactly rule out the condition of sinuses.

Also improving the overall immunity can help in reducing frequent infections like taking multivitamins, nutritious foods and plenty of fluids.

Avoid excessive use of air conditioners. Use a mask when going to pollution.
