How Can Skin Irritation In The Under Arm Be Treated?

Yes, my husband has had an under arms irritation due to a deodorant. I use a natural deodorant normally, I got him the wrong one and ever since then he can not get rid of the irritation even using his original deodorant. He has tried powder, I has used a baby ointment for rashes.

Hi,

I have gone through your complaints and he seems to have developed dermatitis to the deodorant. I would recommend you to apply topical steroid like cortisone cream on the affected areas twice daily and take antibiotic antihistaminic like tablet Cetirizine once or twice daily depending on the intensity of itching. Also avoid applying any deodorant on the affected areas till the time the itching resolves completely.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
