Melas cream contains a triple combination of tretinoin, hydroquinone and a topical steroid. You seem to have developed irritation to it and anyways it should not be use for dark under eye circles.
If i was your treating doctor i would have asked you to apply a moderately potent steroid like fluticasone twice daily for a week.
Once the irritation resolves you can use a cream containing one or more of the following ingredients e.g kojic acid, glycoloc acid, arbutin, tetrahydrocurcumin, magnesium ascorbyl phosphate etc for under eye dark circles.
Working for long hours on computers, watching TV for long hours, lack of regular adequate sleep can exacerbate or cause dark circles. So general measures such as avoiding working for long hours on computers, having regular 6-8 hours sleep, and a good healthy diet also helps.
take care regards
