How Can Sore Throat And Headache Be Cured ?

i have had a severe headache on top of my head for probably five days, and the last three days, if i am not wrapped up from freezing i am burning up.... sore throat maybe half a day two days ago, little constipated... not sure what this is but headache will not go away no matter what

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have sore throat with headaches which could be due to strep throat , upper respiratory track infection , viral pharyngitis and acid reflux . Sometimes it is mainly due to excessive acid production. Need not to worry. Maintain proper hygiene. Drink plenty of water and liquids. Take tepid sponging if it is severe headache. I would suggest you to take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for headache and take benadryl twice a day . If symptoms doesn't get better in a days then consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may examine with laryngoscope , order thraot swab test and viral culture test . Doctor may refer you to gastroenterologist as well.
