How Can Soreness In The Tongue And Acid Reflux Be Treated?

I have soreness on my tongue and mouth and at the corners of my mouth. I am very sensitive to any spicey food and am unable to eat pizza. The soreness on the corners of my mouth do not respond to any treatment for herpes virus. Soda burns badly. I also have acid reflux and take omeprazole.

Hello,

The soreness on the corner of the mouth can be related to anemia.

I recommend doing a complete blood count to confirm the presence of anemia.

If the anemia is confirmed I suggest taking iron and vitamin B supplement.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
