Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
About two weeks ago, I fell on a slippery trail. I landed on the heel of my hand. I had a slightly sore wrist and the pad of my thumb, but not sore enough that I worried much about it. I did not go to the Dr because I didn t think much of it. In the last couple says its been getting sore when I type at work, and today, 12 days later, it s swollen and really sore. The swelling is not really on my wrist, but more up on my arm a few inches. I guess my question is, is it possible I missed a break that for some reason didn t really get sore or swollen for 12 days?

How Can Soreness On Hand Be Healed?
Hello, As of now, you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like aceclofenac/serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
