How Can Swelling In The Feet And Ankles After A Lithotripsy Be Treated?
I had a lithotripsy procedure last Friday and most things have gone as normal including the passing of gravel. Blood has been reduced to almost nothing. I have taken three days of Cupro twice daily. Two days ago my ankles and feel have swelled and I am not sure why. They do not hurt. Cries are not swollen. Any ideas on what I should do about this?
The ankle swelling is not related to lithotripsy and it can be due to some other causes. As a first line management you can apply ice packs and elevate the affected feet using a pillow. If the swelling persist, better to consult a physician and get evaluated. Wishing you good health.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain
