Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am having bilateral swelling of my calves, knees and lower thighs. My work had increased to 48-50 hours of standing per week with virtually no sitting except if I get to run to the bathroom? Because I am on medications for hypertension, Norvasc and spironolactone, I was concerned about some type of heart failure although I know amlodipine can cause swelling, what do u advise?

How Can Swelling In The Knees Be Treated?
Hi, It can be an early sign of arthritis. You have to consult an orthopedics and get evaluated. You might require an MRI scan probably. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Shinas Hussain
