How Can Swelling In The Lower Legs That Is More In The Left And Petechia On The Foot Be Treated?
I have swelling in both lower legs, left greater than right , petechia on foot boney areas , painful to touch, and feels warm can this wait till the am or should I go to the I do have a recent history alcohol abuse and have been told I have a fatty liver
I understand you have swelling of both the lower limbs. We can consider it as an edema. Also, I will advise to put legs in normal room temperature water in a bucket. then clean the legs and put it elevated over the pillow. The height of the leg should be higher than the chest. So there is good amount of venous drainage. Also can perform some simple ankle toe movements which will act as a pump to reduce the swelling further more.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
