Hello, My Husband took a drug which was an antibiotic for which he had suffered from stephen johnson's syndrome. for now everything got well but the eyes dint produce tears coz of lack of mucous membrane. please suggest some ayurvedic treatment for producing tears in his eye. 3. Since there is no cure for tear deficiency, management is symptomatic: . Omega 3 fatty acids in diet or as supplement are beneficial. . Artifical tears to keep eyes moist: Opthacare eye drops, Isotine Eye drops, Itone, Netra Bindu. . Avoid direct contact with Air [since they will lead to evaporation of tears quickly], thus sitting under fan/A.C, travelling with windows open/down should be avoided as much possible. . Avoid smoke and fumes.
