Mom has severe glaucoma. She has lost sight in left eye. We have an excellent Dr., specializing in severe cases & as a last effort to save her sight & control the pressure - laser surgery was performed a 2nd time. The pressure level was down to 8 !!! HOWEVER, on Tuesday it was up to 22 and the dry eye Dr thought she cOuld wait 2 Day s . Her specialist s dad became ill & will be gone for several days... up to a week or two. This devastated me as the pressure was now up to 26. No one in the office knew nor had the knowledge if anything could be done to lower the pressure. I understand the eye will not explode however any sight she now has will be lost. Any suggestions ??? ( what can I do or say to comfort her )
