Hii doctors my son is 7 year old and he is suffering from fever from 7 to 11 days and his blood examine report is showing BE ESR WESTERGREEN METHOD) 48 mm/1st hour and TLC 12,600/CUBICMM ALKALINE PHOSPHATES 148 IU/L
ESR is a nonspecific inflammatory marker, and it can be raised in any inflammation or infective etiology or in malignancy condition.
Total WBC count is also high here. So, infective etiology could be a possibility and antibiotic course prescribed if needed. Based on the provided history this much comments can be given.
