How Can Urinary Retention Be Treated?

i feel some slight problems in urinating and emptying bladder.
I had prostrat surgery done 10 years ago
ihad taken alfoo for about a year enging one year before
i had one tablet beffore bed time
now i feel the said problems and i want to know what medicine i should take
thanks doctor
my age is 82

Hello,

For how long you have this urinary retention complaint? Are you taking any medications other than Alfoo?

There are many reasons for urinary retention after surgery such as UTI, Urethral stricture, muscle weakness, because of some drugs also it may cause Urinary retention etcetera.

I suggest you to continue T. Alfoo and you can consult an Urologist for Cystoscopic examination.
