Hi. I am a female and my in my mid 40s. I only urinate blood or blood with some mixed tissue looking things after my bowel movement. What could it be, what kind of testing do I need to make sure and who/which specialist should I go and see? Thanks.

Hello,

Consult a gastroenterologist and get evaluated. An MRI scan is required to rule out possible fistula as it can present with similar symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
