How Can Vitamin-D Deficiency Be Managed In A Teenager?

My daughter is 15 years old and has vitamin d deficiency. Her reading is 6.5 only. Vitamin d supplements have been started. Should I start calcium too? As I heard calcium and vitamin d is the combination. If yes 500 mg per day is enough? Her vitamin d is weekly once 60k.
