Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Causes of vocal cord palsy you have to identify then treat the cause. Common causes are

1. Injury during surgery.
2. Neck or chest injury.
3. Stroke.
4. Tumors.
5. Viral infection etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Vocal strengthening exercise, surgical procedure like bulk injection, structural implants, vocal cord repositioning etc. Please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
