How Can Vulvar Vestibulitis With Tissue Oversensitivity Be Treated?

I was diagnosed with vulvar vestibulitis and treated with an anti inflammatory steroid 9 years ago, and have been well for years, but after 3 years of abstinence I m finding my tissue oversensitive again. The gynecologist I talked to said that medication was no longer available and did not have another solution. What should I do?

Hello,

You can try low potency steroid creams like Betamethasone for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist consult a gynaecologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
