Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I have gone through your question and you are most probably suffering from Tinea cruris and corporis. Overdosage of drugs can cause potential adverse effects. Please avoid self medication and follow only Doctor's prescription. Unfortunately, most of the treatments which give faster reliefs are only temporary and they actually worsen the condition. I am sorry to say that the treatment response is gradual. Please do avoid over the counter creams which may contain corticosteroids and they worsen the condition. Please do not get deceived by immediate relief. Always sundry you innerwears and use it. Avoid tight fitting clothings such as jeans. Please keep the groin dry by applying clotrimazole dusting powder. You can use Terbinafine cream 1% for 2 weeks on the lesion and also apply on the normal skin 2 cm around the lesion. Do apply clotrimazole dusting powder after applying Terbinafine cream. Please consult Dermatologist, if you do not get any improvement in 2 weeks.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
