How Concerned Should I Be About Dense Calcification Visible In A CT Scan While Experiencing Chest, Upper Arm, Left Shoulder And Back Pain?
On a recent CT scan for a lung infection my LAD showed up as having dense calcification yet I am only having minor symptoms ( occasional chest pain, pain in upper arms, left shoulder feeling of fullness and mild pain in the back of the neck ). I know women present differently. How concerned should I be?
Usually calcification in the lungs don’t cause this signs and symptoms you are experiencing. However, it would be better to be seen by a pulmonologist specialist to be sure and safe if these are related or not.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
