How Diet Impacts Vaginal Odour?

Hi, I have a question about my vaginal taste. I ve been reading about how foods and fluids (ex. lots of water, whole grains fruits and vegetables) have a positive effect on vaginal odor and taste. The thing is I ve made a slight dietary transition and drunk a lot of water (I aim for 2 liters of it everyday) which helps, but it isn t consistent. The taste of my vaginal fluids has a slight musty and sometimes metallic taste to it. What foods do I need to eat or action do I need to take to keep this odor and taste away consistently?

Hello,

Food does not affect vaginal odor.

If you persistently experience foul smell, you can consider a vaginal swab to rule out possibilities like bacterial vaginosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
