How Do I Test To Know Heterozygous Or Homozygous For The Gene?
Well, in my bio lab i recently found out that I had the Factor V leiden mutation, and I had my family Dr. run a blood test and it came back positive for factor V leiden mutation. What i was wondering is how do i test to see if i am heterozygous or homozygous for the gene.

In that case, you have to go for the PCR to determine whether you are homozygous or heterozygous. The management of these two cases may vary.
